Multi-tasking Naghma Khan's Shaaz International Premier League - SIPL goes Global

Recently felicitated as the Iconic PR and Entrepreneur of the Year, well known Bollywood personality Naghma Khan, the founder of Shaaz Media Entertainment has achieved yet another accomplishment with the recent success of Shaaz International Premier League Season 1 (SIPL) that was held in Goa. The second season of SIPL is scheduled to be held in Dubai in the coming months.

Naghma Khan's firm SHAAZ Media and Entertainment is a diversified Event Management company handling the filmy events, corporate media, sporting events with mastery in Celebrity Management. Now the Mumbai based SHAAZ Media & Entertainment is handled by it's professional experts Shazia and Aalia who are the directors of the company.

Naghma Khan has handled Corporate Media for several Conglomerates, successfully handled Sporting events as the Event Manager and has even handled marriage function events of several high-profile business families.

SHAAZ Media Entertainment has successfully executed International events and handled the PR of several International celebrities. With Shaazia Khan and Alia Khan taking over the mantle in Mumbai. Naghma Khan has incorporated an event management company in Dubai - Shaaz Media Events where she manages sporting events like football, cricket and other sports. Among the prestigious events conceptualized, organized and managed by her are the Friendship Cup UAE 2022 (Cricket) and the Celebrity Football League.

Turning to Film Production

Naghma Khan has even turned into a producer with two of her films, one of them being Ducks and Dracks that is streaming on MX Player and the other is ‘System Update' featuring Ejaz Khan playing the character of a Sardarji. The third venture is in its post-production stage - Bhumi, a horror- thriller web series that is the story of a girl child in the interiors of India that is directed by Hasnain Hyderabadwala.

SIPL - Shaaz International Premier League Season 1 (Goa)

This tourney was held in the Arlem Ground in Goa with celebrities from Film & Television industry mingling with dignitaries and other Sporting celebrities in attendance. Former State Minister Govt of Rajasthan Shri Amin Pathan was the Chief guest on the opening day that witnessed a dazzling dance performance by Bollywood celebrities.

Aalia Khan, Director of Shaaz Media comments, "Not many are aware that M S Dhoni began his interest in cricket with Tennis Ball cricket,SIPL that is a tennis ball cricket tournament which received tremendous success in its inaugural Season with 12 teams participating in this tournament spread over 4 days of non stop action and lots of excitement."

The 12 teams that participated were Rohit Cricketers Vascon, Adroit Engineers, SSCC Dombivali, Swanik Sport Club Amravati, Shrisat Sports, Rohit Cricketers Vasco, Adroit Engineers, SSCC Dombivali, Swanik Sporting Club Amravati, Shrisat Sports, FM 11 Hospet, Piramitar Raigad, Eleven Warriors, Delhi Dhamaka, Pratik 11 Sindhanur, Kolkatta Mukherjee 11 and Deepak Dada Pratisthan Nandivali.

SIPL Season 1 concluded with the team from Delhi, the Dhamaka Cricket Club bagging the title. The tourney has succeeded in providing a big platform to several promising players from among those playing street cricket.

When asked about the obstacles that came for her dream project SIPL, Naghma replied, "Honestly I do not like the word obstacle. In my opinion, most limitations and obstacles are self-imposed. One can reach as much as they imagine. It's just about having ambition and dreaming big and working hard, regardless of what the others are saying.

Naghma Khan acknowledged, "Firstly I would give all the credit to Allah, who have made my every dream come true. Then my Investors, my family and friends who have believed in me in making this possible. Finally Shazia Khan and Aalia Khan who are my pillars and have successfully executed the first season and now they handle all the work in India and have put all their efforts and dedication in organizing this big event in India. SIPL Season 2 is coming up in Dubai very soon."

An overwhelmed Shazia Khan, the SIPL director noted, "I am so excited to see that street players got the opportunity of a big platform via this premier league. It is encouraging for us to see the Shaaz International Premier League achieving such a huge success in its very first season itself that we are planning to take it to the international level."
