Physiotherapist turned model, Reema Khanolkar is the perfect inspiration for all young and aspiring models

Many young people dream of walking the ramp, flaunting their spectacular looks, and sporting the creations of their favorite designers. Modeling is a coveted career. However, only a few among the millions of aspirants emerge successful in the highly competitive field. Others either don't get adequate opportunities or get lost in the crowd. Contrary to popular opinion, a career as a model is highly demanding too. It takes grit and perseverance to overcome the challenges that the path entails. Model Reema Khanolkar has exhibited such commitment and talent and carved a niche for herself in the global fashion landscape.

A resident of San Francisco, Reema dreamt of a successful modeling career ever since she was a child. She'd watch pageants and admire other models for hours. She also tried to do their walk and other mannerisms as a child. However, childhood interest never faded and today Reema is a successful global model.

Reema is currently also a Director of Rehabilitation who has excelled at everything she has tried her hands at. Her enviable career results from her hard work and ‘never give up' attitude. The fact that she established her modeling career alongside a challenging course and career in the healthcare field bears testimony to Reema's go-getter attitude.

She has many accolades to her name and those include the Model of the Year title 2021-2022 at the Asia Fashion Awards, and the Global Fashionista Award in 2021. She won these awards in the Mrs. category and proved that marriage is not the end of aspirations. 2021 proved to be a significant year for Reema, as she registered many victories and titles in her name. She also won Mrs. X Factor Queen and was among the top finalists at Mrs. Bharat, California, 2021. This was the year when she surpassed her own records that she set in 2020.

2019-2020 wasn't less eventful either. She was nominated for ‘Model of the Year' and Best Walk of the year titles at the International Fashion week Goa. She was also cast as a lead model for a Hollywood Runway Production in Los Angeles. Her progress well reflects her motto in life and that is to complete with self and strive to be a better version each day.

Reema says that her goal in life is to continue learning. ‘Refusal to learn is the refusal to grow', says the successful model who regularly attends training courses to get better at her craft. She has received acting training under Hollywood acting coach Ryan Glasgow. Reema also attributes a part of her modeling success to modeling training that she received from America's Next Top Model, Brittney Sharaun and Laura James.

Her other engagements include an appearance as a celebrity guest on Neeshon Radio, the Bollywood radio station in Houston, Texas. And Mera Sangeet, Bollywood Radio station in Singapore. She is not only the brand ambassador for multiple brands but also the Brand Face for Fairdealcart an e- commerce platform. Very recently she has also featured in a Music Video.

Reema has attended many fashion events as an official jury. These include the International Indian Icon Global Talent show in Chicago, and National Pageant, Miss and Mrs. Globe India. Opportunities as a jury member, walking the ramp for numerous international labels, featured on cover of leading lifestyle magazines, and a plethora of prestigious awards, Reema has all the feathers in her hat. Very rarely does one come across such an amazing mix of talent and commitment.
