In a very short span of time, young singer Abhi Dutt has delivered multiple hits and worked with some of the most celebrated names in the industry.

While he holds each of the associations close to his heart, the experience of working with the legendary lyricist Sayeed Quadri is something he cannot forget. The singer had collaborated with the lyricist on the super-hit single ‘Dil Tujhko Chahe' which was released on the label BLive Music. Talking about his experience, he says, "Working with Sayeed Quadri Saab has been one of the most special moments of my career. I have been a fan of many of the immortal songs he has written including ‘Awarapan Banjarapan' (‘Jism'), ‘Tere Bin' (‘Bas Ek Pal'), ‘Maula Mere Maula' (‘Anwar') and ‘Phir Mohabbat' (‘Murder 2'). It was an honor to collaborate with him on ‘Dil Tujhko Chahe".

Abhi is one of those singers who believes words play a very important role in shaping a song. Lyrics, he says, are very important and are one of the most important factors behind listeners connecting to a song. "Dil Tujhko Chahe is one of my biggest hits and a big reason behind it is the poetry Sayeed saab wrote for it. It is a song that connected with listeners of all age groups. I composed the tune and Sayeed saab blessed it with some truly magical words. I feel fortunate that I not only got the opportunity to work with him as a singer but also as a composer", says the young singer-composer.

Abhi is now waiting for the moment when he gets to collaborate with Sayeed Quadri again. A lot has been said about poetry losing its importance in Hindi film and non-film music today. Abhi believes as long as lyricists like Sayeed Quadri are around, poetry will remain relevant even in commercial music.
