Nitanshi Goel and Pratibha Rantta are currently basking in the success of their latest film 'Laapataa Ladies'. The two play small-town brides who land up in the wrong place owing to their veils. The film follows the story of villagers trying to correct the confusion with the help of the police.

Pratibha Rantta essays the role of Jaya in the film. Her character accidentally reaches the hometown of the protagonist Dipak. As she has the bridal veil over her head, Dipak fails to identify his real wife and ends up bringing Jaya to his hometown. It leads to a quest of him hunting down his real wife, Phool Kumari.

Phool is essayed by the 16-year-old Nitanshi Goel. She effortlessly portrays the innocence that is required by the character.

She began her journey in the world of showbiz at a very young age when she started participating in fashion shows. She gradually appeared in ad films. She made her acting debut at the age of 9 on TV. She acted in TV shows like Naagarjuna: Ek Yoddha, Karmaphal Daata Shani, Ishqbaaz, Daayan, Peshwa Bajirao and many more. Apart from TV shows, Nitanshi was also seen in films like M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Indu Sarkar, Hurdang.
