Shekhar Ravjiani admits that associate Vishal Dadlani and him do not compose for single tracks when working on a film, but the opportunity to work on the title song of Chehre was not one they were willing to trade. "Being Anand bhai's [Pandit, producer] film, this was special. Mr Bachchan, who features in it, is like family. It has been a pleasure to collaborate with them, and an honour for me to have sung this track with Mr Bachchan," informs Ravjiani, who roped in the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra to create this song.

This isn't the first time that the musician-duo joined forces with the orchestra, having previously associated with them on Shah Rukh Khan-starrer, Om Shanti Om. "They are extremely talented and collaborative. They understand the ethos of our music, and take it to the next level with their musical skills. The atmospheric and immersive acoustic value of an orchestral arrangement is highly underrated, when it comes to pitting recorded tracks with live music. The potential to elevate a song through the infusion of orchestral talent is incredible," says the composer, who is also reportedly creating music for Khan's next, Pathan.
