Feroze Nadiadwala was to begin work on his next production with Hollywood director Rob Cohen.

Feroze Nadiadwala was to begin work on his next production with Hollywood director Rob Cohen. But reports now suggest that Cohen has recently signed a multi-million dollar deal with New Regency and will soon start work on the studio's next flick, Medieval. This effectively puts Feroze's project indefinitely on hold.

Having just backed out of Sony's XXX: The Return of Xander Cage starring Vin Diesel, Cohen has signed on to direct action film Medieval, a story described as The Magnificent Seven set in the Middle Ages.

According to Variety, New Regency has acquired the spec script by Alex Litvak and Michael Finch. Director McG will be involved in a producing capacity.

What about Jewels?

Cohen has said the picture would go into production by October. But where does it leave his other film Jewels of India that was to have actors from Hollywood and Bollywood?

Jewel of India is the story of a student who discovers a document that leads him to believe that the Kohinoor diamond in the Tower of London is not real and that the real diamond is somewhere in India or close by.
