The actor was excited to attend the festival and meet the South folk. "Aamir has worked with director A R Murugadoss in Ghajini and has a basic idea of their working style. It was very great experience for him and he happened to meet people like Kamal Haasan, K Balachander."

Aamir's spokesperson confirms, "Aamir visited Chennai to inaugurate the film festival. Even though his visit for brief he had a good time interacting with members from the South industry."u00a0
