Aamir meets President over coffee

Aamir Khan recently flew to New Delhi to collect his Padma Bhushan. The actor reached the city much earlier than necessary to attend the ceremony. Apparently, the President wanted to talk to Aamir before the function and had invited him to meet her over coffee. Aamir, who claims he is the brand ambassador of India, respectfully agreed to meet Patil. He also met Kapil Sibal, the driving force behind the amendments to the Copyright act.

However, when other ministers invited him to their homes, he politely declined their offers as he had to return to Mumbai to continue work on Peepli Live and there was no way he could meet all of them in the limited time he had in the city. So he just met them at the function instead.
