Abhay Deol has been quietly learning the basics of deep sea diving at a hotel pool in the suburbs for some time now. Apparently, he has to go deep sea diving in a sequence in his next film to be directed by Zoya Akhtar. Since he is not a certified diver, he has been taking lessons on basic stuff like using equipment and changing pipes. Abhay is determined to do this right as his costars in the film, Farhan Akhtar and Hrithik Roshan are already trained in diving. This is the first time he is doing a film with an ensemble cast of big league stars and he is determined to make a mark.
Produced by Farhan's Excel Entertainment, the as yet untitled film is about three friends who go on a road trip in Spain. Abhay will be flying to the European country soon as the film goes on floors on June 1. Since Abhay loves road trips, he is sure the shoot will be a lot of fun.
