Nora Fatehi
Her foot-tapping rendition of Dilbar for Satyameva Jayate behind her, Nora Fatehi is set to sizzle on the big screen yet again with Kamariya. The track, which will be part of Rajkummar Rao and Sharddha Kapoor starrer Stree, she says, has a "rustic feel to it."
"I liked the way Kamariya had been conceptualised. Performing with Rajkummar, Aparshakti [Khurana] and Abhishek [Banerjee] in the song was a breeze. A lot of effort was put into it since it includes some difficult steps, but we had a lot of fun," says Fatehi.
Always picture perfect, the Moroccan-Canadian says she has a "rural" look in the track. "I wear a saree with sneakers, and have unkempt hair. I love it." Even though she has graduated to bagging film offers, including one in Salman Khan's Bharat, Fatehi doesn't mind being part of special numbers even today. "[Our] films are known for their dance numbers. As a viewer, I forward to these songs too."
