Akshay Kumar helped save the life of an assistant working on Tees Maar Khan. On Friday, Sahil, the assistant to fashion designer Aki Narula, fell ill on the sets at Malshej Ghat. He was given first aid immediately, but his condition did not improve. When Akshay heard of this, he immediately ordered that Sahil be flown to the nearest hospital in his helicopter.
Akshay had requested Farah Khan to arrange for the helicopter so he could fly to his home every evening after shoot and be with his son. Farah and Shirish Kunder had reluctantly agreed, but little did any of them anticipate that it would come in useful in such a critical situation. Thanks to Akshay's intervention, Sahil was admitted to a hospital quickly. While the doctors did not reveal what was wrong with Sahil, they did say that had there been any delay in bringing Sahil to the hospital, they might not have been able to save him
