Parineeti Chopra's playback debut, Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin­, was unveiled yesterday. The track is from her upcoming film, Meri Pyari Bindu. Penned by Kausar Munir with music by Sachin-Jigar, it is a soulful rendition of the track.

Buddy Alia Bhatt tweeted, "Lovely, lovely, dear Pari, new song on repeat" Ayushmann Khurrana, Parineeti's co-star in the film, said "She's my new favourite singer" while cousin Priyanka Chopra tweeted, "Proud of u baby! Ur daddy will be proud! So would mine!"

In an interview to mid-day last month, composer Sachin had told us how Pari recorded the song in three hours flat. The actress was put into a routine where she had to devote at least an hour daily for riyaaz with the music team.
