An ode to Sachin

The World Cup hasn't spared anyone. And the latest to fall prey to it is Munni Badnaam Hui composer Lalit Pandit.

Like many other singers- music directors, he has also composed a song for the Indian cricket team sung by Makarand Patankar.

He tells CS, "It is dedicated to the Indian cricket team, especially to Sachin Tendulkar. It is his last World Cup, and I want his dream to be fulfilled.

He is not only a great player but a gem of a human being. Everyone can get lessons in humility and equanimity from him. I think we have great chances as our team is fantastic. While our pace attack is a little weak, the spinners and batsmen are doing an outstanding job."
