This was whimsy Jason and Anshu's inspiration. The cluttered cityscape was closely inspected with peeled paints, exposed plaster, broken mosaic floors to create an amalgamation of perfect imperfection.
The sparkling white runway was interspersed with tiny stuffed heart cushions, to create an ambience for the
only-separates line, densely layered with a splash of colour and architectural motifs.
The harshness of architectural lines was softened with rose and heart motifs that were used as fasteners, and distressed prints.
The inclusion of straight-cut bomber jackets and trousers in a roomy dress oriented presentation added a kinetic energy to the maddening pace most cities are synonymous with.
Just like the title of the brand suggests, Small Shop has a niche audience that yearns for comfortable silhouettes crafted in taffeta and lined silk, using vivacious original prints.
