Salman Khan was in Jodhpur yesterday to record his statement in the 17-year-old blackbuck poaching and the Arms Act case.

The star reportedly told the court that he was falsely implicated by the forest officials. The next hearing is scheduled for April 4.

The case was registered against Salman after the the licences of the weapons, he allegedly used to kill two blackbucks, had texpired.

The blackbucks, protected under the Wildlife Protection Act, were killed at Kankani village near Jodhpur in 1998, where Salman was shooting for Hum Saath Saath Hain (1999).
