'Baaghi 2' makers put China schedule on hold owing to tense Sino-Indian relations

Strained diplomatic relations between India and China, owing to the tense situation at the border, has affected the shoot of Tiger Shroff's Baaghi 2, which was expected to kick-off in Shanghai.
A source close to the production house tells mid-day that though producer Sajid Nadiadwala had stated that the team had struck a deal with the Chinese Government, who invited them to the country to film the actioner, the strained Sino-Indian ties have called for a change in plan. "The film will now be shot in Pune, followed by a schedule in Ladakh, Bangkok and Mumbai. The China schedule has been put on hold for now.
In April, mid-day had reported that Shroff was set to fly down to China to undergo martial arts training under action choreographer Tony Ching. "The action in this sequel will be several notches higher. Thankfully, I have Tony Ching," Shroff had said. However, it appears that the actor will now head to Hong Kong for the practice.
