Bitten by the movie bug

Watching films is my favourite past-time. As an actor, it is an educative experience for me. Ironically, when you watch a bad film you can learn a lot from it at one go. But a good film absorbs you completely.

Till date, I have never left a film mid-way. I see my friends moving out of the hall when there are songs, but I am always glued to the screen.

Alex O'Neil, actor

I watch films of every genre, except horror as I get scared easily (laughs). Generally, I like films that tell thought-provoking stories.

I'm going to catch up on Indian regional films, as they have great scripts and performances, especially Malayalam films. My recent favourites are Memento, Inception, Blood Diamond and Kickass.

Amongst classics, I love Casablanca, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Schindler's List and Ben Hur. My earliest memories of going to a cinema hall was in Holland where I saw Star Wars with my siblings.

As an eight-year-old kid, I loved the film and Harrison Ford was my icon for a long time.u00a0
