Fresh out of the shoot of 'Half Girlfriend' in which she plays a basketball player, Shraddha Kapoor has given her nod to another sports-based role. The actress is set to step into the sneakers of Saina Nehwal, the first Indian to bag an Olympic medal in badminton, and understands that the prep will be no easy task.
"I have only a few months to look as professional as her. It's definitely the toughest role of my career. It's not going to be easy, but I am ready for the challenge. I will start training as soon as 'Half Girlfriend' releases," she says, adding that she plans to take off on a family holiday before diving into an intense prep.

The 30-year-old actress adds that doing a biopic comes with a big responsibility. "Biopics are usually made on public figures, so, to factually present it on celluloid and playing that character to perfection is important. I am excited to play Saina and plan to spend a lot of time with her to get a sense of her journey to the top. So far, we have exchanged SMSes, expressing excitement over the film."
This would be the second biopic in Shraddha's career - she recently wrapped up the shoot of Haseena: The Queen Of Mumbai, based on the life of Dawood Ibrahim's sister, Haseena Parkar. The film also stars her brother, Siddhanth.
