There are still over two weeks left before he comes down to India, but this time his instructions to the organisers are clear. Bryan Adams doesn't not want any 5-star treatment.

He has requested for windows in his room that open out so that he can take in the sights and sounds of Mumbai, he doesn't want florescent lighting in his rooms as the lights are prone to flickering, he can do without the AC, he prefers a sedan to the stretch limousines and he insists that he doesn't want any 'unnecessary luxurious things.' As the organisers gear up for his coming, Bryan tells CS what brings him back to India for the fourth time:

Desi connection
Ever since we played in India, I've noticed more and more people from India attending my concerts and requesting for more shows. In fact, my Twitter page has requests from all over India. And the people seem really excited that we are coming for another concert tour.

Personally, I too am really looking forward to performing here with my band. I plan to sing all the songs that you know and love, maybe throw in a few others for good measure. You can expect your favourite songs like Summer of 69 and 18 Till I Die.

Press play
No surprises for guessing that I'm a big music buff. I've always been drawn to voices, so the great Blues and R& B singers have influenced me in a big way. Some of the singers that I grew up listening to were Robert Plant, John Lennon and Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger, Joe Cocker, Rod Stewart.

They were all influenced by American soul music and they in turn inspired me. And how can I forget the singer songwriters like Jackson Browne, Elton John, Bob Dylan and others.
