Reacting to the Tamil Nadu government's decision to ban screening of Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam in the state, filmmaker Sajid Khan said cinema cannot create communal divide or hurt anybody's sentiments.

On Wednesday, the Tamil Nadu state government banned for two weeks "Vishwaroopam" movie with about 25 Muslim organisations objecting to Kamal Haasan's movie on the ground that it portrays the community in a bad light.

Following the ban, Kamal moved the Madras High Court for relief and the court suspended the ban order on his film "Vishwaroopam".

"Hindus go to temple, Muslims go to mosque, Christians go to church, but you don't know who is from which community when you all sit together to watch cinema. Any person from cinema, self-respecting person from cinema will never make any communal divide or hurt anybody's sentiments," Sajid, who is currently busy with "Himmatwala" remake, told reporters Thursday.

"We have to make sure that our films entertain people in the theatres. We never pay attention to who is Hindu, who is Christian or who is Muslim. We want our audiences to be happy because that's what we truly believe in," he added.

Ajay Devgn says that the country's law should have the last word.

"Law should decide everything. Law will decide what is going to happen," said the actor.u00a0
