Dhadak celeb review: Arjun, Varun, others hail Ishaan and Janhvi's performance

Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter's Bollywood debut film, Dhadak has hit the screens on Friday, July 20. However, a section of the Bollywood fraternity and family members saw the film prior to its release through special screenings organised for them by the makers. All those who have watched the film cannot stop praising the debutants' performance and Shashank Khaitan's direction in the film. Brother Arjun Kapoor is mighty "proud", Varun Dhawan hails Dhadak as Khaitan's "finest work" till date, Madhuri Dixit is sure that these youngsters will win everyones's hearts through their performances.

Arjun Kapoor, who couldn't make it to the film's trailer launch, had wished Janhvi luck and blessings. He has now watched the film and can't stop gushing over sister Janhvi's performance. "It's out today Dhadak. Shashank Khaitan (director) has made a heart-warming and yet gut-wrenching love story. He's handled the two of them so deftly. Ishaan, you have nailed the simplicity and energy of a young kid who just sees purity in love. Janhvi, you left me speechless. So bloody proud of you (sic)," wrote Arjun.

"#DHADAK is @ShashankKhaitan finest work. Ishaan and Jaanvi are incredible in the film. It's a film which will touch everyone's heart and give an important message. Go catch it in the theatre. Shashank I'm so happy to see your growth but happier cause your the same person," wrote Varun Dhawan about his Humpty Sharma and Badrinath ki Dulhania director.

Madhuri Dixit, who also watched the film said, "#Dhadak is so beautiful yet an intense film! I totally loved it @karanjohar @ShashankKhaitan #Ishaan & Janhvi I'm sure you will win over everyone with your wonderful performances. Sending out my best wishes to the entire team for the big release tomorrow! (sic)"

Well, theres's an interesting string that attaches both Arjun Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor with director Shashank Khaitan. While Khaitan directed Janhvi's debut film, he acted in Arjun's debut, Ishaqzaade. The Khaitan connection!

Dhadak is a remake of the Marathi blockbuster Sairat, under Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
