The marriage theme seems to be a hot favourite with writers these days. A week back Chetan Bhagat released his book, 2 States (The Story of my Marriage), and yesterday Bhagwati Mittal followed suit with Vivaha: The Celebration. She talks about the book:

Looking back
When I was young marriages were very different. We all ended up having arranged marriages by default. I was 16 years old when I tied the knot.
Both my daughters are married now and rituals have been an important part of their wedding ceremonies too. I hope to keep the tradition alive through my book.
