A huge crowd of fans congregated outside Amitabh Bachchan's bungalow to a catch a glimpse of the veteran Bollywood actor on the occasion of his 73rd birthday.

The veteran Bollywood thespian, who recently won the hearts of audiences and critics alike for his portrayal of Deepika Padukone's cranky father in 'Piku'.
Amitabh Bachchan, whose film career spans over 40 years commands a legion of fans worldwide. Every year on his birthday fans throng the actor's home in order to wish him a happy, health and long life.
Many wait outside his bungalow Prateeksha in hopes to catch a glimpse of the man. Bachchan himself mostly comes out and greets his fans and wellwishers from the building's balcony.
He is generally accompanied by wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai.
