Film folk against service tax on copyrights

The Film Federation of India is up-in-arms against service tax. It wants the government to remove the additional service tax levied on copyrights.

A core committee comprising senior members of the film industry will present the losses of the film industry to the Finance Minister and request him to remove the levy of service tax on copyrights.
