>> He began his career in the oil and gas business in Midland, Texas in 1975 and worked in the energy industry until 1986. He was also a served in the Texas Air National Guard.



>> Bush has been arrested three times. Once for driving under the influence of alcohol, once for stealing a large Christmas wreath from a hotel, and once for ripping down the Princeton goal posts after the Princeton-Yale game. He has also had his driver's license suspended for 30 days.

>> He graduated from Yale University with a degree in history, and an MBA from Harvard University. He is the first US president to hold an MBA.

>> He played baseball and was a cheerleader at Phillips Academy at Andover. He is also a fond collector of autographed baseballs and he owns over 250.

>> He is the first US President to receive an acting nomination and then subsequently win the Razzie Award. He was nominated for and won the Worst Actor award in the film Fahrenheit 9/11. Though, technically, he was not acting in the film, but merely playing himself via archive footage.

>> Bush's favourite movies include Friday Night Lights, that is about a Texas high school football team and Saving Private Ryan, a World War II epic from Steven Spielberg.
