When Dolce and Gabbana first had models walk down the ramp wearing jewelled and fur-trimmed headphones at their Fall/Winter 2015/16 presentation at Milan Fashion Week, it was supposed to be a ramp-only accessory. But such was the demand, that the label started selling the nearly $8,000 pieces. Chanel launched headphones too in association with a headphones company. Pic/AFP

Most of the associations result in cosmetic changes to the product. One such example is this range of mobile phone and tablet covers by Just Cavalli. Pic/getty
