Neha Dhupia does her bit for the environment by appearing in a Go Green calendar
Neha Dhupia wants you to care for the environment. And she has even bared it during a photo shoot for a calendar that is part of a Go Green initiative launched by Franchise India Holdings Ltd, an integrated franchise solution company.
The actress sounds dead serious about the project and the cause, "The importance of protecting our environment is something that each one of us understands and that the only way to promote this cause is by getting involved."
She's all talk, "The calendar will go a long way in making people aware of the need to get involved in the protection of the environment. Gaurav and Sachin Marya of Franchise India provided me a chance to support an initiative so close to my heart."
Shot by Jatin Kampani, it has the actress make a green statement through the elements of nature.
What we wanted to know...
Calendar print run and distribution: At the moment, the calendar is not for sale. Over 5,000 copies have been circulated to several companies to show them how they can care for the environment and to get back on what they have done for the cause. Depending on response, they may take a decision to sell calendars to raise funds for awareness.
Eco-friendly or not? The calendar is not being made from recycled paper as the artwork won't print clearly.

WHAT'S THE PROBLEM? Sheryl Crow took time out to tell people to use only one square of toilet paper back in April 2007. We don't know about you, but there have definitely been times when one sheet of toilet paper just isn't enough. And that's every time.

At this point he had them flown in from California on a private jet.

3 Coldplay Offsets Their Carbon Footprint Via Dead Trees
WHAT'S THE PROBLEM? It just doesn't work, according to environmental groups. Trees don't lock in carbon for long enough to make a difference. It's not a bad thing to plant trees, but it's not a magical cure for image-conscious celebrities who want to hang onto their private jets.
2 Harrison Ford Waxes His Chest Hair to Save the Rain Forest
WHAT'S THE PROBLEM? Harrison Ford decided to wax his chest to raise awareness of over-logging in the Amazon rainforest, and to make men wince from California to Delhi. What we're saying is that there are better ways to tell the world about deforestation, Mr. Ford. Show us some pictures or something. Narrate a documentary. Just put your shirt back on.
1 Al Gore Holds Green Concerts, With Artists Flown by Private Jet
WHAT'S THE PROBLEM? How about shifting 150 artists around the world, flying them a total of 222,623 miles (that's not counting the technical staff) and pumping 31,500 ton of carbon emissions into the atmosphere for that day alone?
By comparison, the average American releases twenty tons. A year.
