At the music launch of the animation film Motu Patlu, lyricist Gulzar cracked jokes about his mental age.

"My mental age is not much, and Vishal's (Vishal Bhardwaj; the two share a close bond) mental age is even lesser. Isko gudgudi karke hasaana padta hai aur phir ye hasta rehta hai to isko chup karaana mushkil ho jaata hai. While working on the music of the film for kids, we felt like kids too," says Gulzar.
