Ileana makes light of her injury at the shoot; shares photo on Insta

Actress Ileana D'Cruz injured her palm at shooting and shared a funny post to make light of her situation. Ileana posted two pictures on Instagram Stories. The first is a GIF image where a girl is seen walking and then falling down after bumping into something. On the image, Ileana wrote: "Who ends up getting hurt whilst shooting for a romantic comedy?"

The second picture is of her bruised palm, with which she wrote: "I do.. P.S. I'm fine #Klutzalert." Ileana will be seen sharing screen space with Randeep Hooda in the upcoming romantic comedy film titled Unfair And Lovely.

Directed by Balwinder Singh Janjua, Unfair And Lovely is set against the backdrop of Haryana and it chronicles the story of a dusky girl tamed by prejudices and biases held by Indian society against dark skin. The film is slated for a 2021 release and will be shot across various locations in India.

Speaking about her role in a media interaction, Ileana shared, "sssaying 'Lovely' is definitely going to be a very different and a unique experience for me and many people across all demographic would be able to relate to this character. What I love about the film is that its narrative isn't preachy; it's a funny story that will leave viewers smiling and laughing. The team at Sony Pictures Films India and Balwinder Singh Janjuahave made sure this subject is treated with a lot of sensitivity however keeping it as humorous as possible."

For the uninitiated, Ileana D'Cruz is also gearing up for The Big Bull with Abhishek Bachchan. For the uninitiated, this drama is touted to be based on the life of Harshad Mehta and the securities scam that happened in 1992. The film will release on Disney Plus Hotstar. The story will narrate real-life events of the Indian financial market between 1990 and 2000 and will be directed by Kookie Gulati. It's bankrolled by Ajay Devgn.

On the personal front, Ileana D'Cruz celebrated her birthday on November 1. The actress posted some sweet moments from her celebration on the Instagram account.
