Khan jammed on stage with his favourite band
Imran Khan has been a big fan of Pakistani rock band Strings for several years now. He was in for the surprise of his life when his wife, Avantika got them to perform for him on his birthday (January 13).
A source reveals, "The newlyweds were staying at an exclusive resort, which is an hours drive from Phuket, Thailand, on an island called Khao Lak.

On his birthday, Avantika told Imran there would be a barbeque at the seaside with a live band performing for him. He had no clue that the band would be Strings." Imran ended up joining them on stage.
Confirms the actor, "It was one of the best birthdays I have had. Everyone seemed to know about it. What surprised me was that not a single murmur had reached my ears till that morning when I saw them on stage.

We had a lot of fun listening to and jamming with them. What's really nice that I got to know them really well and am happy to say we really jammed well."
The band continued their stay with the newlyweds, family friends and left a couple of days later.
