It's time for some pet pooja

It's time for some pet pooja. The Mumbai International Food & Beverages Exhibition and Conference (MIF&BEC) at the MMRDA Grounds that kickstarted yesterday and will conclude on October 24 gives you a chance to indulge in some yummy food.

From hot dogs to chaat, popcorn to golas, chaklis to even processed vada pavs, the 40 stalls leave you spoilt for choice. Even MLA Baba Siddiqui found himself inundated with some delightful food options.

Checking out all the stalls, he told CS, "This is a great initiative. I am happy to find organic food here, chaklis made without oil and items made of suji instead of maida. These are great eating options for a diehard foodie like me."

Gulshan Atha, the project head of the exhibition and conference (that's on Oct 23) seemed super excited too. She said, "We've got brands like Al Kabeer, Golden Elephant Foods, The India Store and more along with home-made food sellers who can't afford to put up stalls. So we've offered them complimentary stalls. We're expecting a great response from MIF&BEC.
