When you see Aditya Narayan on the sets of Vikram Bhatt's thriller Shaapit, you can never tell that it's his debut as the lead.
The spontaneity and ease in his manner falls nothing short of that of a seasoned actor. CS saw him relishing every bit of being the 'hero'.
Role reversal
Shooting as a child artiste wasn't a big deal. I could be a brat and have loads of fun on the sets. Playing the male lead in a film is a different ball game altogether. It is a lot of hard work.
Google talk
Who says I have stopped singing? I look at myself as someone who is multifaceted.
I have composed and sung the title track of Shaapit, besides playing the protagonist. A really creative person is constantly looking for various ways to express.
I enjoy writing scripts too. Someday I shall have a band of my own. So I say to all I am like a google application. Come and enjoy whatever you want. There's a lot on offer!
In daddy's footsteps
The best part of being Udit Narayan's son is that there's so much to notice and learn. He has had a fabulous career spanning more than two decades.
When I go home and see him sitting comfortably in his 'ganji' and towel, I am amazed at how he's still the same, humble person that he's always been.
He is a great example to follow. I am very happy being my father's son. He has always stressed upon the need to be a nice person, more than the race for fame and recognition.
And so, I don't see any need to wriggle out of his shadow. It is a great place to be.
Creative call
Entertaining people is my passion. It is a hobby, a profession and a deep calling. I thrive in all its elements. I am doing Vikram's next film too.
There's a lot of television in the pipeline, which I have been postponing. There's really no hurry to become a superstar. I will venture into doing anything that fires my creative urge be it acting, singing, or composing.
