Twinkle gives Akki a earful

A little birdie from Juhu tells us that Akshay Kumar's fiery biwi Twinkle Khanna was not happy with his generous act at the Star Screen awards.

Says a pink flamingo who landed on Juhu beach, "When Akki announced on stage that he was not accepting the award saying he felt it should to Aamir Khan for Ghajini, Tina was stumped. She gave her hubby a earful for sacrificing his trophy.

She didn't appreciate the act, or the way it was done." We hear the show organisers and the publication behind the awards are also upset with AK for disrespecting the award, and walking off without accepting the trophy.

B'day with buddies

Minissha Lamba celebrated her 23rd birthday yesterday. The actress threw a party for close friends to bring in her big day on Saturday night at Royal Palms.

A source reveals, "The guest list was limited around 20 people. The party went on till the wee hours of the morning."

The sad thing about that is, that then, I don't end up sharing with you a lot of the process and what I am feeling at that time.

Films are my life and I would like to share it first hand... So henceforth, I am not going to bother about that."

But when he can even use multiplex staff to sell his film by giving them Ghajini hair-dos, why avoid the blog? Strange!

Industry shall stop going to attend such functions in future if such arrogance continues."

Mr Ghai, after this, we assume you realise Farah and Sajid Khan will stop going to your Whistling Woods for lectures and events.

Also this makes one wonder if the director didn't have a problem with SRK when he made digs at his films at the awards last year. Guess it's 'who' makes the joke that's more important than what the joke is, no?
