She was seen at Il Terrazzo at DelItalia, Juhu, for a Daddy's Windsong Wednesday evening listening to Shaair+Func belt out some tunes.

Big league

Remember Prem (Manoj Bohra) from Balaji Telefilms's soap Kasautii Zindagi Kay? Well now that he's entering films in a big way, he's changed his name to Karan Vir Bohra.

After Kismet Konnection, Karan Vir's next film will be directed by J P Dutta. Says a source, "Karan Vir is playing one of the leads and the movie revolves around polo.

It's a romantic action thriller and will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule in various locations all over Austria."

Karan Vir was supposed to perform at the grand finale for Nach Baliye 4 but has now opted out because of a leg injury. His partner and wife Teejay Sidhu will perform solo instead. Busy couple, no?

Salsa-ing with Saif

Actor and stand-up comedian Vir Das is busy shooting for two movies, one with Saif Ali Khan and the other with Imran Khan (Delhi Belly) but he's also planning a new comic act.

Talking about Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal starring Saif and Deepika Padukone, Das says, "I play a funny, insane guy who simply forces himself on groups of people, says something unrelated and walks out!" For the film, he had to learn to dance at odd hours, simply to keep up with Saif Ali Khan.

On Delhi Belly he says, "It's a story of two boys and the rest is hush-hush. While shooting for Delhi Belly, I had to lose a few pounds and study my lines carefully." We thought the latter was a requirement for actors, Vir?

Bath bath mein

If you saw Akshay Kumar wearing that freshly-out-of-shower look at the finale of the Zee's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009 held over the weekend, it's because he had just showered! If you are wondering how, as the event was held at Gateway of India in SoBo, while Akki lives two hours away in Juhu, well that's because he requested the channel to book a room for him at the Taj at the last minute. He wanted to bathe and change for the show. Now you know Akshay ki freshness ka raaz.

Spotted

Adhyayan Suman was spotted at Siddhivinayak temple early morning on Tuesday. Dressed in casuals, he was minus the perennially-joint-at-the hip Kangana Ranaut. With a new BMW, girl and a hit in his life; he sure has a lot to be thankful for.

Anurag Kashyap was seen getting out of an autorickshaw on Wednesday evening. Dressed in a black jacket and jeans, he was spotted at Yari Road, Versova. He was haggling with the rickshaw driver over change.Tsk, tsk...

Reject appeal

At the NDTV Indian Achievers awards show in New Delhi recently, Anil Kapoor quipped that he was glad that SRK said no to Slumdog Millionaire. "Thanks to Shah Rukh's rejection, I got the role," he said.

He then told Aamir Khan, who bagged the Indian Entertainer of the Year, that he too, should reject some roles, which will then come his way.

To which, Aamir retorted, "I barely get to do one film in a year, so there is no question of saying no!" That made the Slumdog quizmaster shut up.

Ajay shifts

Ajay Devgan has temporarily shifted base to his farmhouse in Karjat as he is shooting for Vipul Shah's London Dreams at the ND Studio 10 minutes away from the farmhouse.

Staying in Mumbai would've meant at least five hours of travelling everyday, and with wife Kajol and beti Nysa away in LA, there isn't much to keep him there.

Wonder if Salman Khan will also do the same considering his farmhouse is in Panvel, which isn't too far from Karjat.

Or maybe he can borrow a leaf out of Hrithik Roshan's book; he hired a chopper to take him to and fro between Mumbai to Karjat, when he was shooting at ND for Jodhaa Akbar!

They are loving it

Those who have had a sneak peek of Zoya Akhtar's Luck By Chance Rima Jain, Kaajal Anand and Dostana director Tarun Mansukhani are raving about Farhan's sister's directorial debut. The Facebook accounts of several B-Town folk are full of messages that it is a fab movie.

Tarun has even turned film critic and given it four stars! Anurag Kashyap says, "Luck by Chance by Zoya is by far the best debut film of the last decade by any filmmaker including Dil Chahta Hai." Even SRK has been full of praise for Zoya and her film. Bechari Tabu must be really ruing refusing the part that eventually went to Konkana Sen Sharma.

It's only money...

Kangana Ranaut may be a small-town girl but she's sure addicted to the high life. She loves designer brands. She wore a Chanel to a Raaz The Mystery Continues screening. She bought the dress in New York while shooting for Kites. She says, "It's very expensive.

I spend most of my money on clothes." She owns dresses from Mui Mui, Marc Jacobs, Chloe, Chanel, Burberry, and plenty of jackets from D&G. She groans, "They're more costly than diamonds, believe me... they leave a hole in my pocket." C'mon Kang, what's the rich boyfriend for, if not to pay the bills?
