In his May 20 post, Bachchan scribbles: "The striding run is indeed a symbolic gesture of liberation. Liberation from this mad director Sujoy Ghosh. Liberation from hours of wig and cap.

Quiet? Well, almost

Isn't it funny how starlets and other somebodies keep saying they had a "quiet birthday" and you scratch your head wondering, "pichle saal isne kya bada teer maara?" I mean, where's the reference?


Anyway, Sonal Chauhan had a quiet birthday on May 16 as her grandpa was ill. The actress had prior commitments, though.

She attended an event where she met fans (???) and celebrated her b'day.

While there, she got a surprise visitor in her Jannat director Kunal Deshmukh. Just the night before, she started getting flowers and chocolate cakes. Well, not exactly quiet!

Geeta Basra was seen at the Super Sport Park in South Africa on Thursday watching Mumbai Indians play Delhi Daredevils.


The connection? 'Good friend' Harbhajan Singh plays for Mumbai Indians.

The actress was seen wearing a Mumbai Indians tee, cheering with an Indian flag in hand while Bhajji's team was batting.They should call it Indian Patch-Up League now. First, Yuvi and Kim, now Geeta and Harbhajan.

We have our very own Mannat-ke-deewar-ke-kaan who's buzzing about how Karan Johar and SRK just luuurve Belgian designer Martin Margiela's creations.


The designer's outfits and scarves are extravagantly expensive as they can't be duplicated and are known for their comfort.

Shah Rukh has apparently bought up all the six scarves Margiela designed a few months ago so nobody else could wear it! So now you know.

Hoop-la

Neetu Chandra was invited as chief guest at the All India Junior level basketball championship where kids from 21 states participated.


A birdie reports, "On popular demand, she was asked to shoot the first hoop, which got converted!" Neetu says she had the time of her life watching the kids play for glory.

We sure bet the kids had the time of their life watching her shoot that hoop. Here's a lesser known fact, peeps: Ms Chandra's pehla pyaar is basketball. Figures!

While shooting for Karma: Crime, Passion and Reincarnation in Ooty, all the actors were asked to hide behind the trees once the lights went off.


Suddenly, German model and B-Town's latest import Claudia Ciesla (who plays a ghost) got spooked. She felt someone touched her shoulder, turned around and there was no one there.

By and by, she was told it was a prank and that's how she didn't die of a heart attack. Well, well..
