Jay Bhanushali is not keen to promote his debut film, Hate Story 2. He apparently walked out of the film's promotions midway and has told the makers that he won't be available for city tours either.

A source says, "Jay, and his co-star Surveen Chawla, were supposed to do some media interactions over the weekend. But he arrived two hours late and told the marketing team that he cannot stay back as he has an important meeting to attend. The media then decided to boycott him."
During their joint interaction, the duo gave contradictory answers to the same questions. A crewmember says "Jay said that audiences will not see anything that has not been shown in the promos whereas Surveen said that the film offers much more than what has been shown so far."
The actor apparently thinks that the film is a woman-centric one. As a result, he is said to be focusing more on his other film, Desi Kattey, that will release a little later. "What's more, Jay insisted on charging R30,000 everyday for his staff," says the source.
When contacted, Jay asked us to contact the production house, T-Series. Their spokesperson says, "He was getting late for a meeting and had to leave in between. He hasn't given dates for city tours as he has other commitments."
