Venues for Ranaut's magazine photo-shoot apparently moved due to security concerns following Saturday night's London terror attacks that left three dead and several injured
A saturday night that ideally should have been about bar-hopping in the packed Borough Market area near London Bridge was turned into a bloody show. The street dotted with top restaurants where people were celebrating the Champions League final, came to a standstill after three men got out of a van, stabbing Londoners at random. One would have expected Kangana Ranaut to cancel a magazine cover shoot in the British capital following the atrocity, but she was spotted posing and preening at various locations across the city.
A source informs, "She flew to London last morning with her entourage and will be stationed in the city for the next four days."
Shoot venues were apparently moved keeping in mind the security concerns. "Though Kangana is travelling with her own security team, the situation in London is not at its best now," adds the source. The actress was supposed to shoot near Thames, close to the eye of the attack, but permission is yet to come through, we hear.
A source close to the actress says, "Her close ones advised her against going to London at this point, but she is not one to get scared easily. The magazine concerned had approached her long ago with a quirky concept. She felt backing out at the last minute wouldn't be fair to them."
Kangana is currently in the midst of spending time with family before she begins prepping for her next, Manikarnika, for which she is learning sword fighting and other martial arts forms. The film goes on floors in July and she will complete a major chunk of shoot before diving into the promotions of her next, Simran.
