Claims it is unfair to count losses, as it was an accident that occurred on the sets
Kangna Ranaut is very upset with the producers of her next film Tanu Weds Manu. Recently, she was doing a stunt for the film when the bike she was riding fell on her and she fractured her foot. Kangna was diagnosed with a fracture and ordered bed rest. However, that has not stopped the producers from claiming that as they had not insured the film, Kangna's accident will cause them losses of Rs 1.5 crore. She claims that it is very upsetting to hear the producers speak about the losses when she cannot eve move. She says that it was an accident that occurred as a proper trainer was not provided for the stunt and adequate precautions were not taken. Instead of blaming the producers and directors, she prefers to take it in her stride and think of it as one of those things you cannot control. Yet, the filmmakers have adopted a different attitude.
Kangna will have to sport a permanent scar on her leg due to the accident, but she has ruled out plastic surgery. She prefers the scar remain and remind her of the experience. She will soon undergo stem cell surgery so her foot will heal more quickly.
