Kareena to do a Marilyn Monroe

Kareena Kapoor will play a character based on iconic American actress Marilyn Monroe in Madhur Bhandarkar's next film. Madhur wanted to make a film on the actress for a long time now, but it was only recently that everything fell into place. Madhur was insistent that he not portray one of his favourite actresses in the wrong light and so did extensive research for the film. He not only read several books and articles about Marilyn, but also watched the documentaries made on the late actress. While the film is not expected to be an exact representation of Marilyn's life, it won't be inaccurate either.

Madhur is also in talks with some of the leading actors in the industry to play the five different men who come into Kareena's character's life in the film.
