The pop icon, who shot for Blue last week, would go auto-hopping from one set to another
Director Anthony D'Souza confirms that Kylie would often travel in autos from one set to another, without ego hassles. During shoots in different studios at the same location, stars normally drive in their air-conditioned vehicles but Kylie would hop into a waiting auto-rickshaw and travel.
Tony was particularly touched when Kylie gifted him her personally signed DVD. "It's been made by her friend and is about Kylie's road to recovery after her illness. She also gave me a letter where she thanked me for bringing her to Bolly-wood."
He is full of praise for her professionalism, "For a 9 am shoot she would report ready on the sets at 8 am with make-up. She had absolutely no tantrums, and wouldn't leave the sets even to go to the washroom. After pack-up, she would always seek my permission before leaving."
She was accompanied to India by two of her managers.
Thank you, Farah!
Anthony has a special note of thanks for Farah Khan, who choreographed Kylie's song. "When I called Farah for this song didn't ask me about the details but just said yes when she had the option of saying no. Farah refused to discuss money or who the artistes were but just asked me about the dates. Everybody has been very supportive."
