Sushmita Sen, who is busy getting together the process to select a Miss India to represent the country in the Miss Universe pageant, has now asked Lara Dutta to come on board her project. Apparently, Sushmita wants Lara to act as a guide for the participants. She wants her to spend time with the contestants and explain how to approach the contest.

The two ladies have worked together and share a great bond. Sush is also planning to approach other beauty queens such as Dia Mirza and Priyanka Chopra. As of now, there are no talks of roping in Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Sushmita Sen was the first Indian woman to win the Miss Universe contest, when she got the crown in 1994. Lara Dutta became the second woman to achieve this feat when she won it in 2000. Since then, no Indian contestant has bagged the crown and it seems Sush is doing all she can to change that.
