Vivek Oberoi's priorities might have changed now that he's married, but the one thing that hasn't, is the importance of of fitness in his life. And to ensure that he stays agile and strong, Vivek has steered clear of smoking. The charming face of MiD DAY's Smoke Free Mumbai campaign, Vivek talks to CS about staying healthy:

No smoke without fire
I started and quit smoking for a girl. When I was in college, I thought it was cool to be seen with a ciggy. There was this beautiful girl that I wanted to impress that way. But things didn't work out. When I asked her upfront what went wrong, she replied that she didn't want to be with a guy who smoked. That was the day I realised that smoking wasn't cool after all. And when I quit, my health and stamina improved by leaps and bounds. I remember when I was shooting for Prince, I had to ride a motor bike over a ramp from the edge of 30 storied building and then cross a 60 foot road and end up on the other side. That was the most dangerous stunt I have done till date and it was only possible because my health allowed it.
Mind over matter
You can't enjoy your success if you aren't healthy. For me health is two dimensionalu00a0-- both physical and mental. So to de-stress, I just put on some great music and pull my beautiful wife to dance with me. On a day when nothing seems to work my way, all I want to do is get home to Priyanka. When you are with someone you love, all the stress and worry in the world seems so artificial and unnecessary. That's all the high you need.u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0u00a0
