Bejoy Nambiar's next film is up for release and looks like the director still has some work to do before his project hits the marquee. An organisation of Shia Muslims have raised objections to a song in the film titled Ya Hussain and have asked the makers to remove the song from the Neil Nitin Mukesh starrer as well as the music CD.
Just a few days ago, Sindhis had objected to Sarika's âitem song' in the film Dama dam mast kalandar.
One of the protesters from the social group Salute 72, Abutalib Abbas Rizvi says, "The song uses the name of our Master (Imam Hussain)."
He adds, "In respect of Imam Hussain, we sing the noha (verse) during mournings. He sacrificed himself and his family to save Islam but in the film, his name is mentioned in the song. While we mourn, people from around the world would be dancing to its tunes. It is a big insult to our religion and Imam Hussain."u00a0
