She always sizzlesu00a0-- be it on the ramp or the red carpet. With the party season kicking in, looks like model-turned-actor Mugdha Godse is going to be rather busy. After all, it does take solid planning to choose the right dress for the occasion and ensure that you don't end up aping your fashionista buddies. One for comfort, Mugdha tells CS how to dress right this party season:

Where: At a film studio

At such events, it is best to stay light, vibrant and flowy. Avoid dark colours, tight fits, revealing cuts and high heels. A smart pair of flats with a nice vibrant dress is best for a brunch. I personally like to wear nice strappy shoes along with a pretty floral dress. Sporting Mediterranean curls and minimal make-up always works.

Stylish to the tea
High teas are mostly business or work related events. So it is best to look prim and proper on these occasions. A pair of jeans teamed with a white shirt or tee is ideal. Nice shades, a high ponytail and even higher heels (preferably pumps) with a signature piece of jewellery are guaranteed to get heads turning.

Dinner winner
At a sit-down dinner, it's best to wear a nice dress which is not very short. Don't forget that you will have to sit down and get up every now and then to greet people. So make sure your not flaunting your Victoria Secrets. Wear comfortable heels because very high heels will only make your getting up and sitting down even more difficult. Deep necklines are a definite no-no at sit-down dinners. I always opt for dark and strong colours because I'm rather clumsy with my food and always end up dropping some on my outfit. Tying your hair is a good idea because you can't keep playing with your hair when you're making small talk with the person next to you.

Red alert
When you're attending a night party or a red carpet event, you can go as glamorous as you want to. A chic dress with poker straight hair works for me. Evening parties are the best time to wear your trophy gowns or short dresses as well. This is your chance to flaunt that LBD (Little Black dress) without thinking twice. High heels, bold colour and deep dark make-up will always work. You can experiment with a glossy or a smoky look; as it is in this party season. If you're partying hard, make sure you wear the right kind of heels, so that you can let your hair down without feeling uncomfortable.
