Anil Kapoor's upcoming TV show, which is an Indian adaptation of '24' is taking the actor to visit parts of the city for the first time

Shooting for the desi version of the American TV series 24 is proving to be a voyage of discovery for Anil Kapoor. The actor, who has been filming his production across Mumbai, is visiting spots he had never set foot on in his own city.

Anil grew up in Chembur and now stays at Juhu. His film shoots may have taken him to several places in the city but his small screen offering which captures the landscape of Mumbai has made the star criss-cross the length and breadth of the city. These include several areas in southern parts with its heritage buildings and central areas that he had never seen.

Says Anil, "This city has given me so much. While I have grown up here, I never got a chance to explore it as much. But while shooting, I have seen the heart of the city and met people who have settled here from all over."

His unit has been shooting at places like Cotton Green, Sewri, Worli fishermen's village, Reay Road, Manori and Vikhroli. He adds, "It truly has been an incredible experience discovering the real Mumbai." u00a0
