Even though he was down with malaria recently and couldn't hit the gym for weeks at end, TV actor Arjun Mahajan wasn't too paranoid about losing his eight pack. "I'm particular about fitness, but not obsessive about it," he says. The TV actor who is now all set to debut in Bollywood tells CS about how he manages to stay in shape:
Magic mix
I like to mix my work-outsu00a0-- I do one hour of weight training, half an hour of cardio and I go swimming at least twice a week. I take a break on Sundays though.
I'm not one for dietsu00a0-- I eat everything that's served on the table. But, I do make it a point to drink a glass of milk before my work-outs and a banana milkshake after it. I'm an early riser so I hit the gym at 5am and usually have my breakfast after I'm back.
Healthy habits
I think it is healthy to work-out because exercising helps you get rid of the toxins in your body. Needless to say that it helps you build your resistance.
I feel sick when I don't exercise but that doesn't mean that I feel incomplete without it. It's just a good feeling.
