The Tuxedo is to Americans what the Bandgala is to Indians the last word in dressing up when you are feeling enormously rich

The Tuxedo is to Americans what the Bandgala is to Indians the last word in dressing up when you are feeling enormously rich. And when what's classic is matched with the vitality of sportswear, you have what Narendra Kumar calls, a "groovy combination". Unquestionably the best dressed man in Mumbai, Narendra continued his crusade to present men with chic designer options in a colour palette they best understand black and white.

With Shaa'ir + Func's Monica engaging the audience in a live act (When Farhan Akhtar was done headbanging, he went up to her to give her a hug), actress Kangana Ranaut opened the show wearing a jacket and trousers two sizes large. Sporting thick retro spectacles, hairu00a0 gelled back, a bunch of yummy male models walked in to show off sophisticated tailoring. Classic pieces tux shirts and jackets (Cabin, MAC and sport) fell for the irresistible charm of contrast bold piping, cording, satin insertion and tonal embroidery. Denim, a fabric best known for its humble beginnings, was treated with muscular finesse using pleating and embroidery details, to replace fine wool trouser options.

With Fall/Winter collections often blending into wedding options, Narendra presented a few pieces of occasion wear. We liked the velvet shawl jacket, and the jacquard jacket.

Just one question: Why did Nari forget to replace the zebra print shoes for something desi to go with Indian wear? pics/Pradeep dhivar and Shadab Khan
