Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, and director Raj Mehta were recently in Chandigarh for the shoot of their upcoming film, Jug Jugg Jeeyo. However, Dhawan, Mehta, and Neetu Kapoor had tested positive for COVID-19 and the team had returned to Mumbai.
Dhawan had revealed about testing positive for COVID-19 on his Instagram account, and now, Neetu Kapoor has also posted the same. She wrote a note on her post that read- "Earlier this week I tested positive for Covid-19, All safety measures are being followed and I am thankful to the authorities for all their help and quick response." [SIC]
She added, "I am in self-quarantine, taking medication on my doctor's advice and feeling better. I am so grateful for all your love and support! Please stay safe, wear a mask, keep safe distance. Take care." [SIC]

This is going to be the actress' first film in seven years. She was last seen with Rishi Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor in the 2013-comedy Besharam. When she began the shoot for Jug Jugg Jeeyo, this is how she expressed her feelings on her Instagram account.

She wrote- "Back on set after so many years. To new beginnings and the magic of the movies. I feel YOUR love and presence. From mom, to Kapoor Sahab, to Ranbir always being with me .. now I find myself all by myself, feeling a little scared, but I know you are always with me."
In the image, the actress was seen sitting on a chair as she got her makeup done by an artist who was seen wearing a black face mask. Kapoor started out as a child star, and went on to become a successful star in the 1970s before taking a sabbatical for her family. In recent years, she was seen in "Do Dooni Chaar", "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" and "Besharam".
