Bizarre but true! Makers of a forthcoming film are now auditioning to find the perfect car for their project

If you have two sexy pairs of hot wheels, you can get ready for some va-va-vroom. As part of a unique promotional strategy for an upcoming Saif Ali Khan film, the director duo of Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK have decided to audition cars. And, the coolest of the automobiles will get to feature in the film.

Raj says, "It's kind of a cool idea. Like how you audition for actors, for the first time we are auditioning for a car. Instead of designing a car, we decided to do a casting for it.

The idea is to invite anybody with a fun car to send in pictures and a note on why they think their car should feature in the film. In fact, we have shot a fun ad to call for auditions, that features Kunal Kemmu and Vir Das describing the car to Saif, as if they were referring to a girl."

He adds, "We have got around 500 entries. We haven't decided a winner yet. The car scene will be shot later. The car will be one of the characters in the film and will be featured in a song also."

Vir Das says, "I am extremely excited to be associated with the first car audition of the world. Waiting to see which car wins."
