There had been buzz for a while that Parineeti Chopra and Diljit Dosanjh will feature in the remake of the Anil Kapoor-Amrita Singh-starrer Chameli Ki Shaadi (1986).

Director Rohit Jugraj has now apparently finalised the two. Diljit and Rohit have teamed up earlier for the Punjabi film, Sardaar Ji (2015).
